United States spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds experienced approximately $118 million in net outflows between September 29 and October 1, 2026, according to data from SoSoValue. The withdrawals brought an end to a seven-day inflow streak that had generated $690 million during the week of September 21, led by $326 million into the iShares Ethereum Trust and $174 million into the Fidelity Ethereum Fund.

The reversal began with $3 million in redemptions on September 29, followed by withdrawals of $60 million on September 30 and $55 million on October 1. Fidelity's fund recorded the largest single-day loss on October 1 with $24 million in net outflows, while the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust was the sole fund to post an inflow with $2 million.

The article noted that the initial pullback coincided with the end of the third quarter on September 30, a period when institutional portfolios often rebalance holdings after Ethereum rose 57% during the quarter. However, redemptions persisted into the start of the fourth quarter, mirroring a similar pullback observed earlier in September.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
