Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury firm Strive acquired 2,000 Bitcoin between September 28 and October 2 for approximately $169 million, paying an average price of roughly $84,422 per coin according to an SEC filing. The transaction marks the company's largest single purchase since it bought 2,500 BTC between late May and early June.

Following the purchase, Strive's total reserves reached 29,462 Bitcoin as of October 2, valued at around $2.5 billion based on prevailing market prices near $86,000. The company reported holding $284.7 million in cash alongside zero debt, with its overall average acquisition cost standing at $90,170 per coin at the close of September.

Strive has steadily expanded its balance sheet after agreeing to acquire healthcare technology firm Semler Scientific and its 5,000 BTC in September 2025. That transaction closed in January, creating a combined treasury of about 12,800 coins that subsequently grew to 14,557 BTC in April and 20,246 BTC by mid-August. Recent acquisitions have been funded primarily through sales of its SATA preferred stock, which pays an annual dividend of approximately 13 percent.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
