Asset manager Strive announced in a regulatory filing that it purchased 3,311 bitcoin between October 5 and October 9, 2026, for approximately $280 million. The acquisitions were completed at an average price of roughly $84,500 per coin, including fees, marking the firm's largest single transaction since January.

The transaction increases Strive's total treasury to 32,773 bitcoin, valued at around $2.73 billion, up from 29,462 tokens the previous week. The move follows two other recent allocations, including a $169 million purchase earlier in the month and a $94.5 million addition in late September.

Led by Chief Executive Matthew Cole, the Nasdaq-listed company (trading as ASST) acquired the tokens as bitcoin retreated from recent highs near $87,000. Strive, which expanded its corporate structure through mergers involving Asset Entities and Semler Scientific, continues to adopt a corporate treasury strategy alongside other publicly traded firms such as Strategy, Bitmine, and DeFi Development Corp.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
