Binance to terminate Bitcoin mining pool and related infrastructure in November
The crypto exchange is ending its mining pool, cloud hashrate, and accelerator products after more than six years of operation.
Binance has announced it will discontinue Binance Pool alongside several associated mining infrastructure services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. The sunset affects Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, API access, and alert notifications. Following the cutoff, all mining endpoints and stratum URLs will be deactivated, and pending shares will no longer be credited.
Launched in April 2020, Binance Pool represented roughly 26 exahashes per second, or approximately 2.3 percent of total network computing power, placing it ninth among Bitcoin mining pools at the end of 2025, according to Hashrate Index data. The closure marks an exit from direct mining operations that follows the platform's earlier decommissioning of its NFT service in July.
The exchange has directed mining participants to transition their hardware to alternative pools prior to the deadline, while Pool Savings clients must redeem their balances before services terminate. The company continues to redirect resources toward other business areas, including traditional financial offerings.
