Comparison Assesses Distances to Record Highs for Bitcoin, Monero, and Hyperliquid

An analysis of major crypto assets indicates that Hyperliquid, Monero, and Bitcoin require varying price increases to reach their previous all-time peaks. As of October 17, 2026, Hyperliquid traded at approximately $80, needing a 22.9% gain to surpass its record of $98 set on September 23, while Monero at $558 and Bitcoin at $81,497 required increases of 42.9% and 54.7% respectively to match their prior highs.

To revisit its record of $126,080 reached on October 6, 2025, Bitcoin’s market capitalization would need to expand from $1.64 trillion to roughly $2.53 trillion across its 20.1 million circulating coins. By contrast, Monero would need its valuation to rise from $10.5 billion to $15 billion, while Hyperliquid’s circulating market cap would grow from $17.7 billion to $21.8 billion.

The assets also present different supply dynamics. Bitcoin has a hard cap of 21 million tokens, minimizing dilution, whereas Monero relies on ongoing tail emissions without a maximum cap. Hyperliquid, which features a total supply of 955.3 million tokens against 222.4 million currently circulating, relies on platform fee buyback mechanisms that have removed around 47.5 million tokens from circulation.
