Solana Prepares for Transaction V1 Upgrade as Token Approaches Key Resistance
Solana is preparing to deploy an expanded transaction format on its mainnet while market activity concentrates near key technical resistance levels.
Solana traded around $106.50 following a 3.1% daily increase and a 2.6% gain over the prior week. The price recovery from August levels between $75 and $80 brought the token close to its previous rejection zone near $110, with liquidity data indicating further concentrations between $115 and $120, as well as a larger cluster near $145.
The market movement precedes the scheduled September 9 mainnet deployment of Transaction V1. The technical upgrade increases the maximum serialized transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, expanding capacity by roughly 3.3 times. The format allows developers to execute larger cryptographic tasks—such as zero-knowledge proofs, multi-signature configurations, and confidential transfers—within a single transaction.
According to the Solana Foundation, existing legacy and v0 transaction structures will remain operational alongside the new version. The V1 format eliminates address lookup tables by allowing up to 64 accounts directly inside a transaction. Infrastructure providers, including indexers and RPC clients, must update their systems to ensure compatibility with the new version following testnet activation that began on September 1.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
