BNB Chain said it is pursuing legal action after a former employee allegedly used unauthorized access to a wallet originally created for a video tutorial on token launches. The employee retained the wallet's seed phrase after departing and later used it to create a new token.

Blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain alleged that the former employee deployed a memecoin called Asteroid Shiba and used newly created wallets to purchase 796.7 million tokens, representing 79.67% of the total supply. The wallets subsequently sold 718.8 million tokens for 1,103 BNB, worth approximately $638,000 at the time.

BNB Chain stated it did not create, authorize, promote or participate in the token's creation and has no control over it. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao shared the statement and characterized the former employee as "basically a scammer," urging users to remain vigilant.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
