Ethereum and Bitcoin Developers Seek Audits via Anthropic AI Scanner
Blockchain projects, including Ethereum client builder Nethermind, have applied to have their code reviewed by Anthropic's newly introduced AI security tool.
Open-source cryptocurrency projects have submitted enrollment requests for Anthropic's new OSS Scanner service. The system utilizes advanced artificial intelligence models, including Claude Mythos, to generate automated vulnerability assessments to assist developers in securing their codebases.
Anthropic introduced the opt-in initiative as an evolution of its Project Glasswing framework. While the company previously scanned open-source repositories and delivered findings following manual human reviews, the new platform provides automated security reports directly upon scanning to accelerate remediation.
Applicants identified through GitHub submissions include Ethereum client developer Nethermind, which applied for a full repository audit, and Bitcoin self-custodial wallet ZEUS, which requested reviews of its key management, payment workflows, and Lightning integrations. Other applicants include decentralized computing platform VirtEngine alongside various machine learning and developer tool projects.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
