Phantom Wallet Ends Support for Sui and Monad Networks
Phantom Wallet is discontinuing support for Monad on August 26 and Sui on September 24, requiring users to migrate holdings before each deadline.
Phantom Wallet announced the removal of two blockchain networks from its application. Monad support ends on August 26, 2026, while Sui support terminates on September 24, 2026. After each cut-off date, balances on those networks will no longer display in Phantom, though the underlying funds remain intact on their respective blockchains and remain accessible through other compatible wallets using the same recovery phrase.
The Sui integration was relatively short-lived. Phantom announced the connection in December 2024 and activated it on January 29, 2025. According to reports in the sector press, the decision to end support was made jointly by both Phantom and the Sui team. Monad, by contrast, only launched its mainnet in November 2025, making its removal from Phantom come sooner after its debut.
Phantom confirmed both decisions through official channels, with the Sui announcement posted on X on August 24, 2026. The wallet provider stressed that funds remain fully under user control and can be moved to alternative applications that support the respective networks. Users have two technical routes available: transferring coins through another wallet application that supports the network, or using the same recovery phrase to access holdings in a different compatible wallet. The distinction between these approaches matters for tax purposes, as moving funds through certain methods may trigger taxable events while others do not.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
