Chainlink Introduces CCIP Vault Adapters for Cross-Chain DeFi Deposits
A new interoperability feature enables DeFi vaults to accept one-click deposits across dozens of supported blockchains without requiring manual asset bridging.
Chainlink has launched CCIP Vault Adapters, an infrastructure update designed to let decentralized finance (DeFi) vaults accept deposits from users holding assets across more than 80 blockchains. Under the new setup, users can deposit into a vault in a single action instead of manually bridging assets, switching networks, and submitting separate transactions.
For vault operators, the system allows protocol accounting, yield strategies, and total value locked to stay hosted on a single home chain while Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol handles incoming deposits from other networks. Standard ERC-4626 vaults can integrate the adapter via a factory contract without creating custom cross-chain programming.
Several DeFi protocols and infrastructure platforms have begun integrating or deploying the technology, including Aave, Lombard, Venus, Huma Finance, Veda, Accountable, and Enzyme. Proposed use cases include routing Bitcoin-related deposits to Ethereum strategies on Lombard and broadening access to Aave's sGHO vault without replicating vault architectures across separate chains.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
