Solana Foundation Introduces Open-Source DvP Settlement Tool

The Solana Foundation has launched an open-source settlement program built with JPMorgan input to execute atomic delivery-versus-payment transactions.

The Solana Foundation announced the launch of Solana DvP on October 6, an open-source escrow program created to enable financial institutions to settle delivery-versus-payment (DvP) transactions atomically onchain. The tool is released under the MIT licence, allowing institutions and developers to implement it as a modular infrastructure component.

In traditional securities transactions, delivery versus payment ensures that asset transfer and cash payment occur conditionally; if settled separately, counterparties face the risk that one side fails to execute. Solana DvP addresses this by using isolated escrow, atomic execution, and enforceable deadlines so that both legs settle as a single coordinated process.

JPMorgan provided input during development regarding institutional settlement standards and operational requirements. However, the system was developed and published by the Solana Foundation rather than as a proprietary product from the bank. The tool aims to encode conventional market requirements, such as settlement finality and operational controls, into a public blockchain primitive.

How this piece reads Buy tone +6
Site call on Solana Sell score -58.2

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
