Solana Foundation Launches DvP Settlement Tool with JPMorgan Design Input
The Solana Foundation rolled out an institutional settlement tool designed with JPMorgan to execute on-chain trades within seconds.
The Solana Foundation has introduced Solana DvP (Delivery versus Payment), a settlement mechanism designed with input from financial institution JPMorgan. The system aims to transition institutional engagement on the blockchain beyond ETF holdings and asset speculation toward native infrastructure usage.
Under traditional methods and custom smart contracts, institutional settlements can lock up capital for one to two days. Solana DvP executes both sides of a trade simultaneously within a single transaction, achieving transaction finality in seconds and ensuring that either the entire transaction settles or it fails completely.
Market activity followed the announcement, including a single trader opening a $20 million long position in SOL and Circle issuing an additional $750 million in USDC on the network. According to AMBCrypto, the development signals growing institutional interest in utilizing Solana's base layer for transaction clearing and settlement.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
