Charles Hoskinson Announces Development of New Intent-Based Language for Cardano
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is working with Aiken co-creator Lucas Rosa on a new programming language focused on transaction intents and cryptographic proofs.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announced on October 18 that he is developing a new programming language for the network alongside Input Output Global engineer Lucas Rosa, a co-creator of the Aiken smart-contract platform.
According to reports cited from CoinDesk, the proposed language is built around transaction intents, proof-carrying data, and Groth16 cryptographic proofs. Under this model, users specify desired transaction outcomes, while applications manage the execution and generate cryptographic proofs to verify that the specified conditions have been satisfied.
The project remains in its early stages. Hoskinson did not disclose a name for the language, release public code repositories, provide technical specifications, or establish a timeline for developer availability.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
