Webull Introduces Cryptocurrency Trading in Canada via Coinbase Infrastructure

Canadian retail investors can now access digital asset trading through Webull's brokerage platform in partnership with Coinbase.

· +5

Webull has expanded its brokerage services in Canada to include cryptocurrencies, using Coinbase's Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure to power trading and custody. This move broadens Webull's international digital asset footprint, which already spans the United States, Australia, and Brazil.

The Canadian platform currently lists 10 digital assets, including Solana, Bitcoin, and Ether, alongside its existing retail offerings of equities, exchange-traded funds, and options. Webull noted that additional tokens are also accessible to users.

The brokerage highlighted growing local participation as a driver for the rollout, citing Ontario Securities Commission data that estimates Canadian cryptocurrency ownership reached 25% this year, up from 10% in 2023. The launch coincides with Canadian authorities advancing regulatory frameworks, including the proposed Stablecoin Act aimed at setting standards for asset-backed tokens.

Site call on Solana Buy score 56.4

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
