Remixpoint sells Dogecoin at a loss during corporate treasury restructuring
Japanese firm Remixpoint recorded a loss on its Dogecoin holdings as part of an 878.8 million yen liquidation of all its altcoin positions.
Japanese publicly traded company Remixpoint has exited its position in Dogecoin alongside its other altcoin holdings, realizing a loss of 3.26 million yen (over $20,000). Dogecoin was the sole unprofitable position among the digital assets sold in the firm's broader portfolio liquidation.
In total, Remixpoint liquidated its holdings of Dogecoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP for 878.8 million yen (roughly $5.5 million), realizing a total net profit of 117.7 million yen against a book value of 761 million yen. Gains from Ethereum, Solana, and XRP outweighed the loss taken on Dogecoin, with the net financial impact set to be recorded in the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027.
The divestment leaves Remixpoint holding exclusively Bitcoin, with approximately 1,506 BTC remaining on its balance sheet. The Tokyo-listed firm stated the sales followed a formal evaluation of market conditions and asset risk-return profiles.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
