Ethereum Spot ETFs Record $542.2 Million Weekly Outflow Led by BlackRock
Ether investment vehicles extended an outflow streak to nine consecutive sessions, with BlackRock's fund accounting for the vast majority of withdrawals.
US spot Ethereum ETFs saw $542.2 million in weekly net outflows, extending a negative streak to nine straight trading days that began on September 29. The prolonged drawdown has pulled roughly $700 million from Ether funds overall, with October accounting for more than half a billion dollars of the total.
BlackRock's ETHA represented approximately 88% of the week's net redemptions, losing $477.1 million, including a single-day outflow of $201.9 million on Tuesday. Morgan Stanley's MSSE was the sole Ether fund to record positive net flows for the week, posting an inflow of $1.3 million.
The weekly withdrawals represent a substantial drain relative to the size of the Ether fund market, which holds approximately $15.6 billion in net assets compared to roughly $105 billion held by Bitcoin funds. The broader crypto ETF sector experienced total weekly net outflows of $1.29 billion across products holding Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, Zcash, and Hyperliquid.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
