Remixpoint Sells Dogecoin and Other Altcoins in Pivot to Single-Asset Treasury
Remixpoint took a loss on Dogecoin while selling off all altcoins to concentrate its reserves in Bitcoin.
Remixpoint sold its full portfolio of alternative digital assets on September 1, generating a collective profit of ¥117.77 million ($598,400) while refocusing its digital balance sheet entirely on Bitcoin. The sell-off reversed a June allocation aimed at hedging currency weakness, when the company acquired Dogecoin, Solana, and approximately 1.2 million XRP. Summer risk assessments prompted management to exit these positions in favor of a focused strategy.
Dogecoin represented the sole losing position in the sale, recording a loss of ¥3.25 million ($16,500). By comparison, Ethereum yielded a gain of ¥60.20 million ($305,900), Solana produced ¥49.30 million ($250,500), and XRP contributed ¥11.52 million ($58,500), alongside ¥29.87 million ($151,800) in combined staking income from Ethereum and Solana.
The company will allocate the net proceeds toward expanding its industrial battery storage network and general balance-sheet strength. Its crypto treasury now consists strictly of roughly 1,506 BTC, supported by a lending initiative that accrued 14.92 BTC in interest valued at ¥164.21 million ($834,300) between February and August 2026.
