Solana Mobile Partners With Ledger to Integrate Software on Atom Device
Solana Mobile will bring its application ecosystem and dApp Store to Ledger’s upcoming Atom hardware under a newly announced collaboration.
Solana Mobile has entered into an agreement with hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger to deploy its Seeker application and decentralized application store onto Ledger's upcoming Atom device. The partnership, revealed during an event hosted by Ledger in Paris, represents Solana Mobile’s first external hardware collaboration as it looks to broaden its ecosystem beyond its own Saga and Seeker branded mobile phones.
Unlike standard smartphones, the Ledger Atom is designed primarily as a security-oriented device tailored for digital asset management and Web3 interactions. It enables users to browse decentralized applications and sign sensitive transactions using dedicated hardware security mechanisms, allowing Solana Mobile to expand software access without manufacturing every piece of hardware internally.
The collaboration centers specifically on the forthcoming Atom product rather than Ledger's earlier Nano X model or Solana's own phones. The companies noted that the product is still on the development roadmap ahead of its public release, offering Solana wider software distribution and Ledger broader Web3 utility for its security hardware.
