Ethereum Staking Launches on Interactive Brokers via Zerohash Partnership

Interactive Brokers has expanded its digital asset offerings by enabling eligible US clients to stake Ethereum and earn network yields.

Interactive Brokers began offering Ethereum staking to eligible U.S. clients on October 13, 2026, introducing its first yield-generating staking feature. The program allows holders to commit their Ether to support transaction validation on the network in return for newly issued tokens. Interactive Brokers CEO Milan Galik compared the model to the firm's existing stock-lending program for short sellers.

The technical integration is operated through Zerohash, which delegates staked tokens to validators and keeps assets in dedicated client accounts. Interactive Brokers previously led Zerohash's $104 million funding round in 2025 at a $1 billion valuation. Rewards are shared between both companies with combined fees capped at 30%, though Interactive Brokers did not publish standard yield estimates, lock-up parameters, or minimum requirements at launch.

The offering also introduces distinct risks compared to standard brokerage accounts. Ether held via Zerohash lacks SIPC bankruptcy protection. Users also bear the network risk of slashing penalties should assigned validators violate protocol rules or experience downtime, as well as possible delays when withdrawing funds.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
