Bitcoin Maintains Four-Month Pattern of Higher Lows Despite Recent Pullback
Market data shows Bitcoin continues to print higher lows since June, though analysts point to key price levels that could threaten the ongoing structure.
Bitcoin has sustained a series of higher lows over the past four months, rising from a low of $57,717 on June 30. An August rally supported by exchange-traded fund inflows was followed by a September pullback that established support near $75,000, after which the cryptocurrency closed above its 50-week moving average on September 20.
A liquidation cascade on October 8 pushed Bitcoin down to approximately $80,000, testing market support. As of October 9, the asset traded around $82,581, representing a 4% weekly decline and a 35% decrease from its October 2025 peak of $126,080. Despite the dip, the move remained above the September low, keeping the sequence of higher lows intact.
According to Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Digital, Bitcoin's heaviest cost-basis cluster sits between $83,600 and $84,800, where substantial trading volume previously occurred. Meanwhile, market strategists note that dropping below the $75,000 support level established in September would mark a potential break in the current trend.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
