Robinhood plans to introduce Solana perpetual futures with 3x leverage
The brokerage platform announced upcoming leveraged derivatives for eligible US users, expanding its crypto trading products.
Robinhood Markets announced at its HOOD Summit on September 29, 2026, that it plans to launch Solana perpetual futures for eligible United States customers. The offering will provide derivative contracts for Solana alongside futures for other crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP, with launches planned in the coming months.
The proposed Solana contracts will allow up to 3x leverage, in contrast to the 10x leverage offered on Bitcoin and Ethereum. These perpetual futures have no expiration date and use funding payments to track spot prices, with gains and losses settled in cash every 15 minutes. Positions face automatic liquidation if losses deplete the initial margin.
Solana already has an institutional derivatives market following the CME Group's rollout of Solana futures in March 2025. As of October 2, 2026, Solana traded at $122, marking a 65% increase over two months while remaining down 45% from the prior year.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
