Polygon Integrates TRON Into Open Money Stack for Cross-Chain USDT Payments

Polygon Labs has expanded its Open Money Stack infrastructure to support TRON, tapping into more than $94 billion in circulating USDT.

· +3

Polygon Labs announced that its Open Money Stack now supports TRON, providing payment and fintech companies with tools to handle deposits, custody, routing, and payouts involving TRC-20 USDT. The integration connects TRON-based activity to fiat banking rails and other blockchain ecosystems.

According to Polygon, TRON hosts over $94 billion in circulating USDT, which accounts for more than half of the total supply across all supported blockchains. This liquidity is widely utilized for remittances, exchange transactions, and dollar-denominated payments, particularly in regions with limited access to traditional banking services.

The Open Money Stack enables businesses to assign persistent TRON deposit addresses to users and execute settlements without requiring customers to manually navigate bridges. Through Polygon Trails, assets can be routed directly between TRON and EVM-compatible networks, allowing transactions that originate in TRON USDT to settle in other stablecoins elsewhere.

The move reflects Polygon’s strategy to position Open Money Stack as an orchestration layer across existing networks rather than requiring all settlement activity to occur exclusively on Polygon's native chain.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
