NOWPayments Report Names Solana the Fastest Network for Corporate Payouts

Enterprise payout benchmarks from NOWPayments show Solana leading in transfer speed, while TRON and BNB Chain captured the largest transaction shares.

An empirical study from payment infrastructure provider NOWPayments examining six months of corporate payout data found that Solana delivered the fastest average payout speed among major blockchains, averaging 1 minute and 45 seconds.

Over the monitored timeframe, Solana accounted for 3.86% of total payout transactions and 3.08% of total monetary value. In comparison, Bitcoin achieved an average payout speed of 2:53, TRON recorded 3:08, BNB Smart Chain averaged 3:13, and Ethereum recorded the slowest average duration at 5:56.

The combined dataset showed that the five networks accounted for 94.04% of aggregate payout volume and 77.84% of individual transfers. While Solana led the speed benchmark, BNB Smart Chain processed the largest share of transactions at 48.23%, and TRON handled the highest proportion of monetary volume at 43.69%.
