Two market analysts identify potential Bitcoin bottom signals using distinct technical models
Separate technical analyses focusing on stablecoin liquidity and historical cycle structures suggest that Bitcoin may have established its market low.
Two independent market researchers have concluded that Bitcoin has likely formed a cycle bottom, each relying on entirely different methodologies. Charles Edwards of Capriole Investments based his assessment on stablecoin liquidity, while the analyst known as Root derived the same outlook from historical price cycle patterns. Both noted that their findings point to an end of bear market conditions rather than the start of an immediate bull run.
Edwards reported that Capriole's Market Hedge Ratio, which evaluates the USDT-to-Bitcoin market capitalization relationship over 30 days, dropped to -20.42%, approaching a key threshold of -20.78%. This movement indicates a rotation of capital from stablecoins into Bitcoin. Edwards noted that similar historical signals have typically preceded weeks of upward price movement, though he cautioned that the premise becomes invalid if the indicator turns red.
Separately, Root analyzed Bitcoin's recovery above key technical levels, including the 200-day moving average, the 21-week moving average, and the short-term holder cost basis. The current breakout took place 1,314 days after the corresponding 2023 signal, roughly two months ahead of the timing seen in prior four-year cycles. Bitcoin was trading around $79,755 at the time of the reports.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
