A solo Bitcoin miner found block 960,804 at CKPool on Monday, earning a reward worth roughly $200,000. The block contained 3.15689830 BTC comprising the 3.125 BTC subsidy and 0.032 BTC in transaction fees from 4,243 transactions. CKPool developer Dr -ck identified the winning address and noted this was the pool's 317th solo block.

The miner operated with a peak hashrate of 100 petahashes per second, described as "wildly variable" and likely rented hardware. At a network hashrate of 924 exahashes per second, this represented roughly 0.011% of total network power, translating to odds of roughly one block every 64 days. Solo mining odds vary enormously depending on hardware: a hobbyist with a $1,000 rig faces average wait times measured in decades.

Solo blocks continue to appear regularly across the ecosystem. April saw miners claim $225,000 and $210,000 rewards, with earlier finds reaching $266,000, $365,000 and $350,000. These variations reflect Bitcoin's price movement rather than changes in mining difficulty. The block subsidy remains fixed at 3.125 BTC until the next halving around spring 2028, expected at block 1,050,000, when it drops to 1.5625 BTC. CKPool charges a 2% fee on blocks found by its miners.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
