Clearpool Token Holders Vote to Migrate Credit Platform Asset to the XRP Ledger

Holders of the Clearpool token have approved a migration from Ethereum to the XRP Ledger, replacing CPOOL with a new token called CLEAR.

Holders of Clearpool's native token voted 97% in favor of migrating the private credit platform's token from Ethereum to the XRP Ledger. Announced on October 5, 2026, the transition will allow users to swap existing CPOOL tokens one-for-one for a new token called CLEAR during the fourth quarter, resulting in an initial circulating supply of approximately 1.1 billion tokens.

Clearpool specializes in institutional private credit, originating non-bank loans directly to enterprises. The protocol has facilitated more than $930 million in institutional debt since 2021. The token migration shifts transaction settlement and network fee structures to the XRP Ledger, though underlying loan terms and counterparties remain unchanged.

The migration follows an August 21 agreement in which Ripple, Clearpool, and Cicada Partners established an institutional credit fund on the XRP Ledger. Ripple acts as a limited partner providing capital, Cicada handles credit risk assessment, and Hex Trust manages custody. The facility originates loans denominated in Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin to fintechs, payment processors, and crypto firms rather than utilizing XRP directly.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
