Litecoin Breaks Past $60.61 Resistance as Technical Indicators Show Mixed Volume Trends

Litecoin posted double-digit weekly gains after clearing key resistance levels, even as higher-timeframe volume indicators present mixed signals.

· +7

Litecoin gained over 6% in a 24-hour period and more than 29% across the week, pushing through a key resistance level and swing high around $60.61. This upward move occurred even as Bitcoin experienced a retracement from $87,300 to $82,900 on September 24, which weighed on several broader altcoins.

According to technical data from TradingView, Litecoin's weekly Awesome Oscillator registered a positive crossover above the zero line for the first time since October 2025, while the Directional Movement Index pointed to a strengthening weekly uptrend. Additionally, a Fixed Range Volume Profile identified $60.50 as a key value area high.

However, indicators present a divergence in buyer momentum. On the weekly timeframe, the On-Balance Volume remained near multi-month lows seen in March, pointing to subdued trading volume behind the breakout. Conversely, daily charts showed the indicator hitting new highs, with market analysis highlighting support and demand zones around $60 and $52.50.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
