Sui Announces Phased Mainnet Launch for Hashi Bitcoin Finance Network
The Sui Foundation is launching Hashi, an institutional Bitcoin finance platform backed by more than $500 million in committed capital.
The Sui Foundation announced that Hashi, its native Bitcoin finance infrastructure, will begin a phased rollout on the mainnet later this month. The project is launching with more than $500 million in committed capital from its participating partners.
Hashi allows Bitcoin to remain locked on its native network while minting a corresponding hBTC token on Sui for use as collateral across decentralized lending markets, credit products, and vaults. When positions are closed, the hBTC tokens are burned and the underlying Bitcoin is unlocked.
Anchorage Digital has joined the launch coalition to provide institutional access through its Atlas tri-party collateral infrastructure under qualified custody, as well as through its Porto institutional self-custody wallet.
The partner group supporting Hashi’s initial deployment includes BitGo, Bullish, Cumberland, FalconX, and Ledger. The platform is designed to provide public firms and treasury funds with avenues to generate yield and liquidity from Bitcoin reserves without requiring outright sales or centralized lending arrangements.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
