Crypto Projects Apply for Anthropic's AI Security Scanner
Open-source blockchain initiatives, including Bitcoin wallet ZEUS and Ethereum developer Nethermind, have sought automated security audits through Anthropic's new scanning program.
Several cryptocurrency and open-source software initiatives have applied to participate in Anthropic's newly launched OSS Scanner program. The initiative aims to help open-source developers discover and address security vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by malicious actors, using advanced models such as Claude Mythos.
The opt-in service builds upon Anthropic's prior work with Project Glasswing, aiming to eliminate delays associated with manual human review by providing automated vulnerability reports directly to participating teams upon completion of code scans.
Repository pull requests indicate that applicants include Ethereum client developer Nethermind, which requested an audit of its full repository, and Bitcoin and Lightning wallet ZEUS, which requested examinations targeting payments, private key storage, and Lightning service connections. Cosmos SDK-based marketplace VirtEngine and various AI and infrastructure projects have also applied, with requests pending approval at publication time.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
