XRP Ledger Growth Lowers Balance Threshold for Top 1% of Token Holders
The minimum XRP balance required to enter the top 1% of holders has declined to 43,995 tokens as the total number of ledger accounts expands.
Data from the XRP Rich List shows that the threshold required to qualify for the top 1% of XRP holders has decreased to 43,995 tokens, down from roughly 64,077 XRP recorded in January 2024. Based on an XRP price of $1.54, that qualifying balance represents an equivalent value of about $67,753.
The drop in the qualifying threshold is attributed to overall growth in active XRP Ledger accounts, with 81,993 wallets currently meeting the top 1% criteria. The updated tiers also place the thresholds for the top 2%, 4%, and 10% of holders at 21,500 XRP, 10,010 XRP, and 2,091 XRP, respectively.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
