Remixpoint Liquidates 1.2 Million XRP and Other Altcoins to Concentrate on Bitcoin
Japanese enterprise Remixpoint has offloaded its altcoin positions, including XRP, recording a net profit and pivoting exclusively to Bitcoin.
Japanese firm Remixpoint sold its entire altcoin treasury on September 1, moving away from a diversification initiative started in June. The company had initially accumulated approximately 1.2 million XRP alongside positions in Solana and Dogecoin to hedge against yen weakness, but management reassessed the market risks associated with managing multiple altcoins.
The single-day liquidation totaled ¥878.81 million ($4.47 million) against a book value of ¥761.04 million ($3.87 million), netting ¥117.77 million ($598,400) in overall profit. XRP sales contributed ¥11.52 million ($58,500) to the total gain, trailing larger profits from Ethereum and Solana, while Dogecoin generated a small loss.
Proceeds from the liquidation will support Remixpoint's core industrial battery storage initiatives. The company's digital asset holdings now consist exclusively of approximately 1,506 BTC, with leadership pointing to passive yield from Bitcoin lending programs as a key operational benefit.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
