Retail App Listings Show Limited Immediate Impact on Solana and Arbitrum

A study of token listings on Walmart-backed OnePay indicates that subsequent price rallies occurred months after retail integration.

Fintech platform OnePay, which is backed by Walmart, introduced trading for Solana and Arbitrum in late March 2026, following its initial launch of Bitcoin and Ethereum services in January. While Arbitrum surged 137% in September to roughly $0.20 and Solana rose 66% over a 60-day period to $118, the timing indicates the moves developed roughly six months after their retail listing.

Following its March launch, Arbitrum experienced a brief 5% gain before falling 24% to an all-time low of $0.0705 on June 26 amid three quarters of broader market downturns, leaving it roughly 91% below its peak of $2.39 from January 2024. Solana experienced a similar drop in July before resuming an upward trend, remaining roughly 60% below its record high of $293.

According to OnePay general manager Ron Rojany, the platform selects digital assets based on metrics including liquidity, consumer demand, regulatory standing, and long-term utility. The report notes that subsequent September price recoveries were primarily driven by broader market dynamics rather than retail onboarding.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
