United States spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $236.5 million in net outflows on September 1, according to data from SoSoValue. The withdrawals were led by BlackRock's IBIT, which experienced roughly $201.2 million in redemptions, alongside Fidelity's FBTC, which saw $43.7 million leave the fund.

The net outflows in Bitcoin funds contrasted with an eleventh consecutive day of positive flows for U.S. spot XRP ETFs, which attracted $14.38 million during the same session. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ led those entries with $6.63 million, followed by Grayscale’s GXRP at $4.72 million and Canary Capital’s XRPC at $3.03 million. Despite the single-day divergence, Bitcoin funds retain a dominant lead overall, holding $54.61 billion in cumulative net inflows compared to $1.68 billion for XRP products launched since November 2025.

The contrasting daily flows occurred during a broader market pullback that saw XRP trade near $1.32. The report noted that diverging institutional demand does not necessarily indicate a rotation of capital from Bitcoin to XRP, given the significantly larger asset base and trading activity of Bitcoin products, but rather reflects continued appetite for XRP during a broader risk-off session.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
