Ethereum Holds Above $1,900 as ETF Inflows Hit Four-Month Peak

Ethereum has traded in the $1,910–$1,918 range, gaining more than 4% over the past week. The asset has held above the $1,900 level following support being found repeatedly in the $1,840–$1,850 zone since early August.

ETH now sits above its 20-day moving average at $1,895, its 100-day MA at $1,911, and its 50-day MA at $1,796, though the longer-term 200-day moving average at $2,061 remains above the current price. The daily Bull Bear Power metric has shifted into positive territory at 32.07, suggesting buyers currently have a slight edge.

According to market analyst Ted Pillows, the weekly ETF inflows of $244.94 million represent the strongest capital accumulation in nearly four months. US spot Ethereum ETFs saw $92.15 million in net inflows on August 6 alone, with BlackRock's ETHA product attracting $50.34 million. Total cumulative net inflows into US spot ETH ETFs have surpassed $11.4 billion. Pillows commented that if ETH sustains its position above current levels, a push toward $2,000 could materialize.

Weaker-than-expected US employment data for July provided additional momentum. The economy shed 23,000 jobs versus forecasts of approximately 80,000 new positions, weakening the case for further Federal Reserve rate increases. Futures markets now indicate roughly 56% probability of no action at the September policy meeting.
