A $1,000 investment made in XRP on September 18, 2025—the date the first U.S. spot exchange-traded fund, the REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR), debuted—is now worth $428.60. Over the 12-month period, the token's price dropped 57.03% from $3.08 to $1.32, resulting in a loss of approximately $571.40 on the initial 324.7-token position. The portfolio touched a low of $318.20 in August 2026 before rebounding by 33% over a 35-day span.

Despite the price depreciation over the year, institutional product adoption has expanded. The XRPR fund currently holds $46.24 million in assets under management (AUM). Five additional spot XRP ETFs have launched in the United States over the past 12 months, bringing total cumulative net inflows across the sector to $1.7 billion and aggregate AUM to $1.39 billion.

The underlying network has also seen broader enterprise adoption through Ripple Labs integrations. Institutional platforms including Hidden Road (Ripple Prime), which handled $3 trillion in transactions last year, and GTreasury (Ripple Treasury), which cleared $13 trillion in 2025, have connected to the XRP Ledger. Additionally, the asset has gained greater regulatory clarity in the United States, even as the proposed CLARITY Act faces legislative delays.

How this piece reads Sell tone -4
Site call on XRP Neutral score 7.5

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
