Chainlink Expands Interoperability Role as Tokenized Assets Surpass $31 Billion

Chainlink's cross-chain protocol and oracle services are gaining institutional adoption alongside Ethereum as traditional finance experiments with real-world asset tokenization.

· +2

Chainlink is positioning itself as a core infrastructure layer for tokenized assets through its oracle data feeds and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). As the tokenization sector grows to roughly $31 billion in public blockchain assets excluding stablecoins, Chainlink provides the communication bridge across multiple ledgers.

The network supports major institutional initiatives, including BlackRock’s $2.8 billion BUIDL money market fund across eight blockchains. In addition, global payment network Swift has partnered with Chainlink and major lenders such as Citi and BNP Paribas since 2023 to test cross-network tokenized asset transfers between private banking systems and public networks.

While Ethereum maintains custody of over half the total tokenized asset volume as a base settlement layer, Chainlink facilitates cross-chain liquidity and external data feeds. Both assets recently posted gains, with Chainlink rising 12% to $12 and Ethereum advancing 11% to $2,664.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
