Onchain tracking service Lookonchain reported that two wallets linked to the Ethereum Foundation transferred 4,393 Ether, valued at approximately $11.13 million, to the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken on October 12.

The addresses initially received an allocation of 59,751 ETH from the foundation roughly ten years ago, when Ether traded near $0.90. Over the past decade, approximately 49,751 ETH from that original batch has been moved to Kraken at an average price of $658, leaving an estimated 10,000 ETH remaining.

Exchange deposits can precede asset sales, though the data reflects only onchain transfers rather than confirmed trades. Under its June 2025 treasury policy, the Ethereum Foundation aims for annual spending of 15% with a 2.5-year operating reserve, transitioning toward a 5% target over five years. The organization periodically evaluates quarterly asset sales, having previously announced a 5,000 ETH conversion via CoW Swap in April. The foundation has not issued an official comment regarding the latest deposit.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
