Aave V4 Prime Loans Exceed $4M Amid Growing Protocol Adoption

The lending protocol's latest product iteration has reached a new peak, reflecting rising demand for its borrowing services.

· +3

Aave V4 Prime has surpassed $4 million in active loans, marking a new all-time high for the product. The Prime Hub supports loans backed by blue-chip collateral including ETH and BTC-correlated assets.

Aave's co-founder attributed the growth to features including no collateral rehypothecation, no tokenization, and borrowing incentives on USDC. The protocol offers users holding assets such as cbBTC, WBTC, WETH or wstETH the ability to borrow USDC at minus 0.2% interest, creating built-in incentives for borrowing activity.

Flow data from WalletConnect shows tens of billions moved through Aave during the first half of 2026 across 14,655 unique wallets and 197,501 transactions spanning 161 countries and 22 blockchain networks. This level of activity across both institutional and retail users positions Aave as an actively used DeFi platform.

In price terms, AAVE trades above its 50-day moving average while the gap between the 50-day and 200-day averages continues to narrow. A bullish crossover could bring the $110 level—which aligns with the 200-day EMA—into focus, though that area may also present strong resistance. Rejection near $110 could push the token toward $90 or lower.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
