Bitcoin Spot ETFs See $678.9 Million in Net Weekly Outflows
US Bitcoin funds experienced significant redemptions led by Fidelity and ARK 21Shares, contributing to over $1 billion in total monthly crypto fund exits.
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $678.9 million in net outflows over a single week, reversing the $241.1 million in net inflows achieved the previous week. Redemptions peaked on Wednesday with $484.9 million in daily withdrawals—the highest single-day exit since late June—followed by an additional $244.1 million outflow on Thursday.
The selling pressure was heavily concentrated in specific issuers. Fidelity's FBTC led redemptions with $380.3 million in net outflows, while ARK 21Shares' ARKB shed $207.2 million. BlackRock's IBIT ended the week relatively flat with a net inflow of $1.1 million after a $207.7 million withdrawal on Wednesday erased earlier daily gains.
The wave of ETF redemptions coincided with price weakness, as Bitcoin declined to a low of $80,427 on Thursday before rebounding above $82,000. Across the broader market, aggregate redemptions across all cryptocurrency ETFs exceeded $1.29 billion for the week, pushing total net outflows for US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds past $1 billion in October.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
