Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded a net outflow of $24.29 million on September 8, 2026, marking only their second negative session since a record-breaking stretch in late August. During the week of August 24 to 28, the funds posted a record $824.41 million in net inflows, followed by another $218.40 million the subsequent week.

The recent outflow represents approximately 3% of the total capital gathered during that record-setting late August week. Ethereum traded near $2,482 on the day of the outflows before rebounding toward $2,513.

Withdrawals were concentrated in Grayscale's products. The converted Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) shed $9.57 million, while the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust lost $24.61 million. These redemptions were partially cushioned by Fidelity’s FETH, which added $9.89 million, while BlackRock’s ETHA registered flat flows.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
