Ethereum and Tron Retain Dominance Over Stablecoin Reserves as Activity Specializes
Ethereum continues to anchor global stablecoin liquidity with $147.5 billion in reserves, even as trading volume disperses across competing blockchain networks.
The distribution of crypto liquidity is showing increasing specialization across sectors and networks, with dollar reserves remaining concentrated while transaction volumes shift elsewhere. Ethereum holds the largest share of tracked stablecoin supply at $147.5 billion, followed by Tron with $94.2 billion and Solana with $16.0 billion.
Together, Ethereum and Tron account for roughly 79% of all tracked stablecoin liquidity. The broader stablecoin market remains heavily concentrated in two primary assets, with Tether (USDT) maintaining a 60.2% market share at $183.5 billion and USD Coin (USDC) accounting for 24.3% at $74.22 billion. Smaller offerings such as USDS, DAI, USDe, USD1, and USDG make up the remainder.
The data indicates that holding the largest pool of stablecoins does not automatically result in the highest trading volumes, as networks with smaller balances continue to capture significant spot DEX and perpetual trading activity. Ethereum nonetheless remains the primary reservoir of dollar liquidity in the digital asset market.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
