Ethereum was trading at $2,531, roughly 49% below its all-time high of $4,946 reached in August 2025, while XRP stood at $1.36, down about 63% from its July 2025 record of $3.65 according to CoinGecko data. Price trackers provide conflicting records for XRP, as CoinMarketCap lists an older all-time high of $3.84 set in January 2018.

Exchange-traded fund data reflects distinct institutional dynamics between the two assets. According to SoSoValue, Ethereum spot ETFs command $15.86 billion in net assets compared to $1.55 billion for XRP funds, yet Ethereum products recently saw nine consecutive days of net outflows.

In contrast, XRP funds displayed steadier flows, posting zero net movement in four of the previous eight sessions. Additionally, treasury firm Evernorth, which holds approximately 473 million XRP, completed a Nasdaq listing on October 8, highlighting sustained institutional interest despite smaller ETF asset sizes.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
