Moscow Exchange Introduces Ruble-Settled Perpetual XRP Futures

Russia's largest financial exchange has launched ruble-denominated perpetual XRP contracts for qualified investors without physically holding the token.

Moscow Exchange has introduced perpetual futures contracts tied to XRP, expanding its cryptocurrency derivatives catalog alongside existing products for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Tron. The contracts are cash-settled in Russian rubles based on a U.S. dollar price index, allowing qualified investors to speculate on price movements without directly holding or delivering XRP.

Perpetual contracts roll over daily, enabling traders to keep positions open indefinitely as long as collateral requirements are met. At the launch, XRP was trading at $1.57, up 22% over the previous week amid a market rise that also lifted Bitcoin by 14%. Because settlements occur in rubles, the product exposes traders to both XRP price fluctuations and exchange rate shifts.

The launch follows dated crypto futures first offered by the exchange in the summer of 2025. By September 16, more than 72,000 qualified investors had participated in those dated contracts, generating turnover exceeding 600 billion rubles, or approximately $7 billion.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
