Binance Proof of Reserves Shows Increase in User Bitcoin Balances for October
Binance's latest reserve report indicates a rise in customer Bitcoin holdings between September and October, while balances for Ethereum, USDT, and BNB decreased.
Binance's October Proof of Reserves report reveals that customer Bitcoin balances rose by 0.91% between September 1 and October 1. Users added roughly 6,217 BTC over the month, bringing total customer holdings on the platform to approximately 688,600 BTC.
In contrast, customer balances in other major digital assets saw reductions over the same period. Ethereum holdings dropped by 4.61% to around 3.799 million ETH, representing a decline of approximately 183,600 tokens. Tether balances decreased by 0.87% to roughly 32.03 billion USDT, and BNB reserves slipped by 0.77% to approximately 43.04 million BNB.
The exchange noted that reserve snapshots illustrate customer assets at a fixed point in time rather than direct transaction flows. The reserve update coincided with broader market pullbacks, during which Bitcoin traded around $83,448, as well as regulatory developments concerning Binance's European Union MiCA licensing process.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
