Strive reaches 25,000 Bitcoin reserve after $36.6 million purchase
Asset manager Strive has increased its treasury to 25,000 BTC following an acquisition funded entirely through preferred stock.
Nasdaq-listed asset manager Strive acquired 469 Bitcoin between September 8 and September 11 for $36.6 million, according to a Form 8-K filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on September 14. The purchase was executed at an average price of $77,954 per coin, bringing the company's total reserves to 25,000 BTC.
Chief Executive Officer Matt Cole stated that the capital for the purchase came entirely from SATA, the firm's preferred stock. The instrument's total notional value outstanding crossed $1 billion, up from $999 million recorded the previous week.
The latest transaction represents a deceleration compared to the 1,375 BTC acquired during the prior week. To match the holdings of Twenty One Capital, Strive would need to purchase approximately 1,234 BTC weekly for the remainder of 2026.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
