A new custody offering from Deutsche Bank will allow corporate and institutional clients in Germany to store Ether and Bitcoin alongside regulated stablecoins.

· +5

German corporate clients will soon be able to hold Ether and Bitcoin through Deutsche Bank, following comments by corporate banking co-head Gerald Podobnik on October 16, 2026. The lender expects to activate its digital asset custody operations in Germany within weeks, with a broader expansion into Asian financial centers planned for 2027.

The institutional platform aims to help corporations and fund managers meet regulatory standards by having the bank secure their private keys. In addition to Ether and Bitcoin, the service will cover USDC and EURC stablecoins, with subsequent plans to explore tokenized deposits and digital bond issuance.

Following the announcement, Ether traded near $2,428 while Bitcoin hovered around $81,497, reflecting minor single-day price drops. The bank operates the program strictly for institutional clients and has yet to publish financial projections or fee structures.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
