Crypto exchange MEXC released its September 2026 Proof of Reserves report audited by Hacken, showing that user balances remain backed above a 1:1 ratio across all assessed assets. Based on data from a September 10 snapshot, the platform's Bitcoin reserve ratio rose to 297%, up from 288% in August, with 12,202.13 BTC held against 4,106.57 BTC in user liabilities.

The audit verified collateralization across other major assets as well, reporting a 119% ratio for Tether with 1.82 billion USDT backing 1.53 billion USDT in customer funds. Both USD Coin and Ethereum recorded reserve ratios of 111%, with reserves standing at 299.9 million USDC and 58,917.60 ETH respectively. The verification utilizes Merkle Tree technology to allow individual users to check that their balances are included without disclosing third-party data.

In addition to reserve coverage, the exchange maintains financial safety facilities, including a Futures Insurance Fund holding approximately 798 million USDT to mitigate liquidation losses during severe market movements. MEXC also operates the Guardian Fund, a $101 million multi-asset reserve combining Bitcoin and USDT dedicated to user protection and compensation.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
