Corporate Treasuries Bitmine and Strategy Expand Bitcoin and Ether Holdings

Corporate crypto buyers Bitmine and Strategy have increased their balances, with Bitmine approaching 5% of all Ether and Strategy holding 848,000 Bitcoin.

Bitmine has expanded its holdings to 6,016,414 ETH, representing roughly 4.9% of Ethereum's total 122.1 million token supply, after purchasing 15,112 ETH over the past week. The firm reported that it is 99% of the way toward its target of holding 5% of all circulating ETH, having acquired tokens weekly since launching its treasury strategy on June 30, 2025.

According to Bitmine's disclosures, the company has staked 5,067,309 ETH valued at $13.8 billion based on a price of $2,726 per ETH, generating a projected $363 million in annualized staking revenue. The firm's total portfolio of crypto, cash, and investments reached $17.4 billion, which also comprises 214 BTC, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, a $117 million position in Eightco Holdings, and $643 million in cash and marketable securities.

Concurrently, Strategy purchased 334 BTC for $28.7 million between October 1 and October 4 at an average price of $85,839, raising its total treasury to 848,000 BTC acquired at an aggregate cost of approximately $63.97 billion. The purchase was funded using $15.7 million from MSTR share sales and $13 million in cash. Strategy also bought back approximately $176.3 million of its STRC preferred shares between September 28 and October 4.
