Yuga Labs launched physical and digital Bored Ape collectible cards on Solana, granting initial pack allocations to existing Ethereum NFT holders.

Yuga Labs announced the launch of Mudwater, a trading card game featuring physical and digital collectibles built on the Solana blockchain. Although the core Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT collections remain hosted on Ethereum, holders of these assets received an ERC-6551 Totem airdrop to claim initial card packs.

The release is capped at 10,000 boxes containing a total of 240,000 packs and 2.4 million cards. Holders of original Bored Ape NFTs have access to 100,000 packs, representing roughly 42% of the collection before open trading begins. The set features 120 art pieces alongside foils and eight unique serialized cracked-ice cards.

The rollout comes amid a shifting market for non-fungible tokens, following an aggregate market cap decline in June and the recent closure of marketplace platform Blur. Despite broader sector headwinds, tokenized collectibles experienced growth during the second quarter, leading Yuga Labs to expand its intellectual property across chains and physical formats.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
