Aave Considers Governance Proposal to Introduce Ethena USDe on Avalanche V4
Protocol participants are evaluating the addition of the synthetic dollar as collateral on Avalanche through a direct-to-AIP process.
Aave governance has advanced a proposal to list Ethena’s synthetic dollar, USDe, on the Aave V4 core instance on Avalanche. The proposal has progressed to the formal direct-to-AIP phase following an initial risk assessment, though the asset is not yet active on the network.
Under the proposal, USDe would serve as collateral within the Avalanche V4 ecosystem. Risk evaluations are focusing on the asset's cross-chain mechanics, which rely on LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) structure, a 24-hour timelock, and an Ethereum-based escrow model spanning 31 connected networks.
While the submission has entered formal governance channels, final implementation remains contingent on subsequent protocol voting procedures.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
